Ive wasted my life trying to find names to bring to the temple on family search. So once I tried the app, I found names reserved them, and printed them out, all within 30 minutes! Hallelujah!!!

This saves hundreds of man hours…thats if you know what you are doing. My wife was flabbergasted. It is well worth a donation!

I got pretty involved in family history a couple of years ago, but after floundering through Norwegian records from the 1600s for several months I felt lost and discouraged and eventually quit. When someone recommended this app to me I was skeptical of finding any names, but I tried it. It took several hours and 20,000 records, but it found 5 people who need ordinances--and perhaps more importantly, it got me excited about family history again. Now, when I get stumped in one branch it can show me holes in other places--in addition to saving me the weeks or months of manually combing my family tree. Thank you to the developers for creating such a useful and time saving tool for family history!

I always thought my grandfather had done all our names, this app found dozens for me to do. I am not an expert and wouldnt have found these names by myself.

I have long felt I needed to get involved with researching my ancestors. This app has truly helped give me the motivation to get started and commit myself to this project. I urge all to "purchase"(donate to) the app. I can only imagine how taxing this app must be on its servers. So if people can donate they can increase bandwidth and speed up the app. Overall though great work!

A must have for all LDS families

I dont review apps. Like ever. This has made the hardest part of taking family names to the temple... going to the temple. After I got a bunch of names, I logged in under my wife and she got a load of names from her side too. No family trees on this app, just hunting down people that need work done. Get it and use it.

This is a great app to find family members that need their ordinances done. It was easy to set up and easy to navigate.

This is great for finding names. The one thing it doesnt do is vet the names. It found several names that just needed the endowment, but the sealing to the spouse had somehow already been done, clearly an issue. But it also found several names that actually needed ordinances for sure. Overall, easy set-up, simple function, quick, and easy, even on a Sunday.

So glad to find out about this app. I have found no family names for temple work previously. This app found them for me while I was doing other things! I was easily able to reserve the names and there is a simple way to print the names. Much thanks to the developers!

It takes seconds to start and searches thousands of names! What a blessing it is to have found this app its technology at its finest. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to everyone involved in it.

Im so grateful for this app! It makes finding names for the temple so easy. I can finally easily find names to take to the temple and make the ordinances feel that much more special!

Good service but the hard sell is very annoying. If they were transparent about their costs and how much money was rolling in, or if they didnt push so hard, it wouldnt bother me as much.

Ive been told for the longest time that all of my families work was done! It took probably 45minutes for the app so search 6,000 names and find 20 I can take to the temple! So grateful and lucky to have found this app I would not have the patience to search 6,000 names!

Great app but does not seem to be working 100%. The issue I am having is when I start a new search I select that I want to search for "female", "baptisms & confirmations" and "20 names". When the search is complete I end up with 100 names which are a mix of male and female names, none of whom need baptisms. I am using iPhone 7 if that helps. I tried it after updating the app on 7/14/17 and still have the same issue. Thank you.

I love the app it is really good

Take a Name is super easy to use. If your family search account is open and you are linked to your generations, this app finds the names of ancestors already on your family lines who are missing ordinances for you. "All of my family history is done" so its hard to sift through the many ancestral lines to find someone to do work for. This does the hard part of searching! I do a bit of research to make sure the names it finds are accurate and not duplicates or otherwise erroneous. Super easy to reserve the name cards. Also a good tool to see when someone else has added family names to your tree so you can find sources and do additional research. Love this app!

I am completely amazed by this app! It did an extensive search of over 80,000 records and found a number of ancestors who still needed ordinances done. It linked easily with Family Tree and reserving and printing out cards was shockingly easy. I am so excited to finally have some of my own family names to take to the temple!!
